Homemade Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Aunt Martha's self-rising flour
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour; cut in shortening with fork until crumbly.
    Mix in milk until very moist.
    Knead only enough to form small rolls. Roll in palm of hand and press.
    Will make perfect circles.
    Grease bottom of pan well.
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Bake until lightly browned on bottom, then broil until golden brown on top.
    Makes 12 to 15 biscuits.
