Beef 'N' Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) medium noodles
    1/3 c. sliced green onions
    1/3 c. chopped green peppers
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions, drain.
    In large skillet, saute onions and pepper in butter 3 minutes.
    Add beef and cook until done.
    Drain excess fat.
    In a medium bowl combine tomato paste and sour cream; stir in noodles and cottage cheese. Layer half the noodles and cottage cheese mixture in 2-quart casserole dish; top with half beef mixture.
    Repeat.
    Pour tomato sauce evenly over the top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
