Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. flour
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients and milk.
    Add food coloring and vanilla and beat.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Use cream cheese icing to frost cake.
