Apple Cake Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium apples, pared and sliced
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. margarine
dash of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. flour
Preparation

Place apples in greased 9 or 10-inch pie plate and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
Cover tightly with foil and bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Remove from oven. Reduce heat to 375\u00b0.
Mix remaining ingredients well to form a batter and cover apple mixture.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
