Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. black walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and flavorings. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add milk.
    Mix nuts with a little flour and add to mixture.
    Pour into floured and greased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 80 minutes.
