Mary Ellen'S Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp
    1 carrot
    1 stalk celery
    1/4 onion
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 lemons
    8 cloves garlic
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3/4 c. light oil
    3 large red onions
    1 can pitted black olives, drained
    a handful dry oregano
    a handful dry basil
Preparation
    Steam peeled shrimp for 3 minutes with carrot, celery, onion and salt.
    Put in ice water to chill.
    Remove and place in bowl. Add juice of the three lemons, garlic, both oils, red onions (sliced thin), olives, oregano and basil.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Stir often.
