Chinese Sunday Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. hot pepper
    1 lb. boneless pork butt
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 onion, quartered
    2 medium carrots, slivered and cut into strips
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    some garlic powder
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, saving 3 tablespoons juice.
    Mix juice with 1/2 cup water, soy sauce, cornstarch, vinegar and pepper.
    Set aside.
    Cut pork into strips and brown pork in hot oil.
    Add garlic and ginger.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Add onion and carrots.
    Cook 1 minute.
    Stir sauce.
    Add to skillet with pineapple and peppers. Cook until sauce thickens.
