Chocolate Nut Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fudge brownie mix
    1 1/2 to 2 c. finely chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix brownie mix according to package directions; set aside.
    Chop nuts finely.
    Combine with butter and syrup.
    Generously spray mini muffin pan with vegetable oil spray. Spoon nuts into pan and press to form shallow crust.
    Nuts will not go up sides of pan, only on bottom.
    Place brownie mix on top of nuts.
    Bake 13 to 16 minutes.
    Cool 15 minutes or until tarts can be easily removed.
    Can substitute 9-inch spring-form pan to make one large tart.
    Pat nuts in pan bottom and 1/2-inch up side. Cover with brownie mix.
    Bake 55 minutes.
    Cool before serving.
