Lemon Or Orange Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. oil
3/4 c. water
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
7 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lemon or 1 orange
Preparation

Beat egg whites separately from yellows.
Beat egg yellows, sugar and oil together, then add salt, vanilla, then flour, grated lemon or orange rind and egg whites (beaten very stiff).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Bake in mold pan.
Use your favorite white icing.
