Irish Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. beef cubes for stew
    4 cubed potatoes
    1 chopped onion
    4 carrots
    1 celery rib
    sprinkle of parsley
    2 bay leaves
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can water
    1/2 c. sherry
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil.
    Add equal amounts tomato sauce and water. Add remaining ingredients.\tBake at 275\u00b0 for 5 hours.
    Well worth the time involved!
