Florida Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. nuts
    1/4 c. flour
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 jar cherries
    4 drops red food coloring
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 bananas, mashed
Preparation
    Drain cherries, mix with pineapple and cook over low heat until mixed.
    Add flour, sugar, coloring and cook until thick. While still warm, add jello and bananas.
    Cool and add nuts. Pour into baked pie shell and chill.
    Cover pie with whipped cream before serving.
    Wonderful.
