Louisa Adams' Crab Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
    2 cans cream of shrimp soup
    2 cans crab meat
    1 pt. cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. basil
    1/4 c. sherry or white wine
    1 can mushroom pieces
    1 c. Mozzarella, grated
    1 c. Cheddar, grated
Preparation
    Mix
    together all wet ingredients except grated cheese. Do not cook noodles.
    They'll cook in the casserole.
    Layer in a 13 x 9-inch casserole: 1/2 the noodles, 1/2 crab mixture and 1/2 grated cheese.
    Repeat.
    Cook
    1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
    This freezes well.
    Serves 8.
