Basic French Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1 tsp. Dijon mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1 tsp. celery seed (optional)
    1/2 tsp. tarragon or basil
    1 garlic clove, cut in fourths
Preparation
    Shake to blend and store in jar in refrigerator.
    Serve on salad greens or use as a marinade for vegetables, fish or chicken.
