Ingredients

2 sticks oleo (1 c.), softened
1 c. white sugar
1 c. lightly packed brown sugar (when measuring, spoon it lightly in cup)
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
2 c. old-fashioned oatmeal
1 c. coconut
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Thoroughly cream together oleo and sugars; add eggs and vanilla.
Mix well.
Sift together flour, baking powder and soda.
Combine flour and egg mixture; add oatmeal, coconut, cereal and nuts and mix well.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until brown.
Remove from baking sheet immediately.
Makes 6 dozen.
