Ingredients

2 lb. ripe figs
1 c. crushed pineapple
2 medium lemons, cut in small pieces
sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Wash figs and cut in pieces.
Mix with pineapple and lemons. Put into a boiler with an equal amount of sugar and the salt. Bring slowly to boiling point and simmer gently until thickened, but still a little runny.
Stir in nuts; put in hot jars.
