Almond Butter Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

In heavy frying pan, put all ingredients over medium heat. Stir constantly until color of brown butter, about 4 or 5 minutes. Pour quickly in aluminum foil-lined cake pan.
Cool.
Remove foil and break into pieces or leave whole for gift giving.
Makes 3/4 pound.
Be careful when pouring.
It is very hot.
