Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. cooked rice
    1 small onion, minced
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    12 large cabbage leaves
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients and 1 can tomato sauce.
    Mix well and set aside.
    Cover cabbage leaves with boiling salted water and cook 4 minutes; drain.
    Divide meat mixture evenly among cabbage leaves, spooning down center of leaf.
    Fold sides of leaf to the center and roll jelly roll fashion.
    Place in large skillet, seam down.
    Combine tomato sauce with other ingredients; pour over cabbage rolls.
    Cover; simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 6 servings.
