New Orleans Style Bread Pudding(With Bourbon Sauce) - cooking recipe

6 c. French bread chunks, packed
4 c. milk
1 c. raisins
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine the bread chunks, milk, and raisins. Mix well. Set aside. Combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla in another bowl and mix well. Add the bread mixture and mix well. Melt the butter in a 9x13x2 inch baking pan. Pour the bread pudding mixture into the pan and bake for 1 hour or until set. Cool and serve with Bourbon Sauce.
