Ingredients

1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Mix sugars and butter.
Add flour; mix until moist and crumbly.
Knead dough lightly until it holds together.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten. Bake 45 minutes at 275\u00b0 until golden brown.
Remove from cookie sheets. Cool.
Yields 4 dozen.
