Fettucine Carbonara - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. fettucine noodles
    4 oz. bacon, diced
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 large onion, diced
    1 large clove garlic, chopped
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/2 c. fresh grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Prepare fettucine according to package.
    In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon about 5 minutes until crisp. With slotted spoon, remove bacon and drain on paper towels.
    Saute mushrooms, onion and garlic in bacon drippings, for about 5 minutes.
    Stir in cream, reduce heat to low and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
