Chunky Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
Preparation
    Mix pudding with drained juices from fruit and add water to make 2 cups.
    Cook
    until thick. Cool and pour over fruit; mix and chill.
