Apple-Berry Sauce - cooking recipe

1 lb. Golden Delicious apples
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
3 Tbsp. seedless raspberry or blueberry jam or preserves
Preparation

Peel and core apples.
Slice 1/2-inch thick.
In 2-quart casserole, cook apples and margarine or butter on high 3 to 4 minutes until apples are tender-crisp, stirring halfway through cooking. Add jam.
Cook 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until jam is melted and apples are tender, stirring halfway through cooking. Serve over waffles or pancakes.
