Brooke'S Pecan Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. flour, mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar. Beat egg yolks and vanilla with sugar and margarine. Add flour, sifted with cinnamon and salt. Grease 2 jelly roll pans. Divide dough and spread evenly and flatten with hands. Brush top of dough with slightly beaten egg whites, then press chopped nuts into dough. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Cut into squares or fingers while hot. Remove from pan when cool.
