Gale'S Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Thoroughly mix butter and sugar.
Stir in 2 1/2 c. sifted flour.
Mix well with hands.
Knead for 5 minutes.
Spread evenly on a cookie sheet.
Prick with a fork.
Bake at 300 degrees for about 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cut warm, but leave in pan until cool.
Age for best flavor.
