Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. onions
    4 c. cabbage
    10 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    10 green tomatoes
    1/2 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 turmeric
    4 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Grind vegetables, add salt and let stand overnight.
    Rinse vegetables.
    Mix the rest of ingredients with vegetables.
    Simmer 3 minutes.
    Makes about 8 pints.
