Hamburg Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 or 3 potatoes, diced
1 can Veg-All
1 can stewed tomatoes
2 c. pasta (your choice)
1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
2 dashes oregano
6 c. hot water
6 beef bouillon cubes
salt and pepper
Preparation

Brown ground beef and onion in Dutch oven.
Drain.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water.
Add to ground beef and onion, along with remaining ingredients, except pasta.
Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender. Cook pasta according to directions on package.
Add to soup when potatoes are done.
Simmer a few minutes longer and then serve. Salt and pepper to taste.
