Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix these ingredients to make the cookie dough.
Mix well and shape into 1 1/2-inch balls.
Roll in granulated sugar to coat the balls and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes at 375\u00b0.
