Cheesy Cube Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    6 beef cubed steaks
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine ingredients, except steaks and cheese. Simmer for 10 minutes.
    In heavy skillet, brown steaks in 1 tablespoon oil or spray skillet with Pam.
    Pour sauce over steaks. Simmer 25 minutes.
    Sprinkle cheese over steaks.
    Cover until cheese melts.
    I like to serve this with rice.
