Sweet Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

7 lb. ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
3 lb. granulated sugar
3 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. cloves
1 Tbsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. salt

Preparation

Combine all ingredients and cook until thick (almost as thick as catsup).
While hot, seal into cans.
It has to be watched while cooking, as it will stick and scorch.
Cooks well in a large crock-pot.
