Lime Jello Salad(Country: U. S.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime Jell-O
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. cold water
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. crushed and drained pineapple
    1 c. cottage cheese (small curd)
    1 c. Cool Whip (or small container)
    1/2 to 1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O with hot water; add marshmallows and dissolve. Add cold water.
    Let mixture set (will take several hours).
    Do not let mixture get too solid.
    When set enough, mix with remaining ingredients, using mixture on low speed.
    Fold nuts in last.
    Refrigerate until solid.
    May be used as a side dish or dessert.
    Make this recipe early in the day, or day before.
    Makes approximately 8 servings.
