Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn (canned or fresh)
    1 c. boiling water
    3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Grate or chop the corn; add the boiling water and onion.
    Cook for 15 minutes.
    Strain.
    Melt the butter in top of a double boiler and stir in the flour.
    Blend.
    Add the milk and seasonings.
    Stir in the strained corn pulp and cook for 10 minutes.
    Serve hot.
