Old-Fashioned Country Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 ears corn, cut from cob (including juice)
    2 red peppers, diced
    2 medium onions, diced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 green peppers, diced
    3 c. cider vinegar
    4 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in heavy Dutch oven.
    Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Ladle into hot jar to 1/4-inch from top.
    Seal jars.
    Process in boiling water for 15 minutes.
    Cool and test for seal.
    Can also be kept refrigerated for a few weeks.
