Hot Fudge Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 to 1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. very hot water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In mixing bowl, stir together, flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
    Add milk, melted shortening and vanilla.
    Mix until smooth.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread evenly in buttered 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa over batter.
    Pour hot water over top.
    Do not stir.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
    To serve, cut into squares and use spatula to invert each square onto a dessert plate, then spoon sauce from baking pan over the top.
