Peach Glaze - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. Clear Jel or cornstarch
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. peach jello
    1 can sliced peaches
    1 box whipped cream
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix the first 2 ingredients together in a saucepan.
    Boil until sugar is dissolved.
    Add the next 5 ingredients.
    Cook until thick.
    Add the jello.
    Mix well.
    Cool.
    Add the peaches and pour into the pie shell.
    Top with whipped cream.
