Chocolate Layer Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    3 Tbsp. softened margarine
    2 Tbsp. heavy cream
    3/4 tsp. peppermint extract
    1 drop green food coloring
    1/2 (2 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt unsweetened chocolate with 1/2 cup margarine; let cool. Beat egg and sugar until thick.
    Add almonds and flour. Stir until smooth.
    Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Cool.
