Cherry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie mix
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and rest of ingredients, except pie mix.
    Spread half in greased 9 x 12-inch pan. Spread cherry pie mix to cover.
    Put rest of dough on top. Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
