Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. warm water
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/3 c. self-rising flour
1/2 cake yeast
1 egg
2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Add beaten egg to milk; mix well with yeast and sugar dissolved in water.
Cut shortening into flour with liquid to form a soft ball.
Knead gently on floured board.
Roll and cut.
Place on greased pan; brush with butter.
Let stand and rise until doubled in size.
Bake.
