Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. mashed very ripe bananas
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Add mixture of shortening, 1/3 cup buttermilk and mashed very ripe bananas.
    Beat 2 minutes, then add 1/3 cup more buttermilk and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Bake in greased and floured pan for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Frost with traditional buttercream frosting when cool.
