Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
5 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream together the butter, shortening and sugar.
Add flavorings.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.
Add alternately the measured flour and milk.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 in round pound cake pan.
