Ribs 'N' Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. spareribs or neckbones
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 lb. sauerkraut
    1 large onion, sliced
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Brown on both sides in frypan.
    Season with salt and pepper. Place sauerkraut into large casserole. Add onion slices and ribs.
    Pour water in frypan.
    Stir to loosen drippings. Pour over ribs.
    Bake, covered, for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
