Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. (1 gal.) cucumbers, sliced
    1 qt. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. dill, chopped
    1 Tbsp. pickling spice
    1 Tbsp. whole black pepper
    8 cloves garlic, sliced
Preparation
    Place cucumbers in jar with tight fitting lid.
    Stir rest of ingredients until well mixed.
    Pour over cucumbers and cover. Refrigerate 3 days, carefully inverting or stirring each day. Store in refrigerator up to 3 months.
