Pan De Elote(Mexican Spoon Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. Bisquick
1/2 (4 oz.) can green chilies, cut into thin strips
1/2 lb. or more Jack cheese, thinly sliced
Preparation

In large bowl, beat eggs.
Add corn, butter, sugar and milk; mix well.
Add Bisquick and mix well, but don't beat to death. Grease rectangular or square baking dish (I use Pam).
Pour half the batter into dish.
Layer to cover with cheese slices.
Next, add the chilies in a loose grid layer.
Cover with another layer of cheese.
Pour remaining batter over, carefully to avoid dislodging the cheese/chilies.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes, until top is golden brown.
