Beef-N-Cheese Tart - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. barbecue sauce
5 slices American processed cheese
1 tsp. milk
1/4 tsp. poppy seed
pastry for a double crust 9-inch pie
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Brown meat lightly in a skillet.
Add onion and cook 3 minutes.
Drain fat.
Add barbecue sauce and stir.
Prepare pastry.
Roll half into a 15 x 6 1/2-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Place on a cookie sheet.
Spread meat mixture along center of pastry, leaving a 1-inch border at edges.
Place cheese slices, slightly overlapping on meat. Moisten pastry edge with water.
Roll out remaining pastry. Carefully place pastry over meat/cheese filling, matching edges of bottom pastry.
Seal edges with fork.
Brush pastry with milk and sprinkle with poppy seed.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until lightly brown.
