Corn Pone Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. tomatoes, chopped
1 small can Brooks chili beans
1 pepper (red or green)
1 small pkg. corn muffin mix
Preparation

Brown together ground beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder and salt.
Drain off grease, then add tomatoes, chili beans and bell pepper.
Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Prepare corn muffin mix according to directions on box.
Pour over meat mixture.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
