Pecan Thins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. softened margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
pecan halves (1 for each cookie)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, beating well. Add flour and salt and mix until smooth.
Stir in chopped pecans and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoons, about 2 inches apart, on greased cookie sheet.
Place a pecan half in the center of each cookie. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Makes about 6 dozen.
