Fairy Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can crushed pineapple
1/2 pt. whipped cream
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together and add egg yolks, milk, flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Beat well.
Place in two greased layer tins.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold in 1/2 cup sugar.
Spread over dough in each tin.
Bake approximately 30 minutes at 325\u00b0 until meringue turns slightly brown.
Drain pineapple juice.
Mix whipped cream and pineapple together.
Turn over layer upside-down with meringue at the bottom.
Spread with pineapple and whipped cream.
Place other layer with meringue on top.
