Apple Wok Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, separated
dash of salt
1 c. thinly sliced, peeled apples
1/4 c. vegetable oil
sugar
Preparation

Combine flour, milk, salt and egg yolks.
Mix thoroughly.
Add apples.
Beat
egg\twhites\tuntil stiff, but not dry. Fold in the apple
mixture.
Preheat a wok and add the vegetable oil.
Heat over
high\theat
until
oil
begins to smoke. Reduce
heat to medium.
Gently
drop
heaping
spoonfuls
of batter 1 to 2 at
a time
so
the cakes are about 4-inches in diameter.
Brown one side,
then
turn
and brown other side. Remove from pan. Sprinkle with sugar.
Serve warm.
