6 medium carrots, peeled & cut into strips or small slices
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
Preparation

Peel carrots and cut into strips or small slices. Simmer, covered in boiling salted water OR steam until crisp-tender. Melt the butter; stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Add carrots. Cook over medium-low heat turning often to coat. Sprinkle with snipped parsley.
