Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    2/3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sweet milk
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
    1 c. finely chopped or ground walnuts (may use black or English)
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
    Combine flours and add alternately with milk, being sure last addition is flour.
    Add flavorings.
    Beat, then stir in nuts.
    Bake in preheated oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
