James' Deer Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground venison
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 bell pepper, chopped
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 can peeled tomatoes, drained
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    water (to cover meat)
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    about 4 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
    1 can tomato paste
Preparation
    Cover meat with water.
    Bring to simmer and add onion, salt and bell pepper.
    Simmer for 2 hours.
    Add chili powder, pepper or other spices to season to individual taste.
    When seasoned to taste, make a liquid paste of cornstarch or flour to thicken to desired consistency.
    Serves 8 to 10.
